PLR made easy…

General 2 Comments »

Hey,

This free plr (or private label rights) resouce may answer the question, “where can I find an existing product to sell if I don’t have my own?”.

============================================
If you’re in a hurry, just visit www.freetoolsandtips.com/plr
(There’s no cost)
============================================

Let’s face it. If you’re just getting started and want to make money online, there’s selling someone else’s as an affiliate, which is great, but you may want to start selling your own product(s) as well and plr products are a super fast way to do just that.

Here’s how it works.

When you create your own product, you need to do research, create videos or write articles or write an ebook, then you have to write a sales letter, hire a graphic artist, set up a merchant account, etc, etc… phew!

Or you can cut out 80% of that process with a few plr products. Here’s how…
First, always, always, ALWAYS choose “high quality” plr products! (Promoting/selling garbage only hurts you and your clients). This shouldn’t need to be said, and probably not to you, but sometimes people need to hear it to be aware. =]

After you find a few plr products that are related and high quality, you can combine them into one package. Maybe a video series, an ebook and a few articles. Go through them and tweak the writing style to fit your own and improve on the areas that need it.

This may include getting rid of the boring parts or highlighting the really good stuff.

Then get a domain name for your future product. I recommend using www.godaddy.com and getting a dot com. (There are some great tips for how to do this in my video series at www.ThirtyDayMarketing.com.)

Then go to www.FreeToolsAndTips.com/resources and pick a graphic artist. *
You can use your own, but these are a few that I’ve personally worked with that ‘get’ internet marketers and create a full site for under $100.

Then simply upload the new graphics, your tweaked sales letter, your product files and you’re a super star! ;-)

You can then take your product and create an affiliate program as well. I prefer nanacast since they have the one-click upsell technology and have several fulfillment houses built in. You can see it in action at www.MikesAffiliates.com.

If you prefer to keep it simple and don’t mind some of the limitations, you can also use Clickbank (www.clickbank.com). It cost’s $50 to sell on their site, but you’ll be listed among some of the greats and don’t have to worry about most of the technical stuff.

So that’s it. Check out www.freetoolsandtips.com/plr while it’s still available. Also be sure to let me know your thoughts here.

Thanks for reading. I really appreciate it.

~Mike Cowles. <><

P.S. Please tell a friend about this blog! Tell them it’s a great way to sort through all the garbage for working at home.

Free Traffic…

General 9 Comments »

Hey,

I was talking with a friend recently about some struggles people run into when they get started online and one of the biggest issues is traffic that doesn’t cost them a lot of money.

So I figured I’d share a few free traffic resources/ideas…

First, get business cards and give them out to everyone you talk to. You can get 250 of them for free here.

Second, set up a blog and write a post every day. The secret to this is to write about popular topics and relate them to your topic. That way if the latest news is Oprah’s new book, people will do searches for it and find your blog.

Third, post a video on www.TubeMogul.com every day. Same concept, you can even use the same content as your blog post, but Tube Mogul will send your video to several sites for added leverage. Make sure to mention your site at the beginning and end of the video.

For free video software, go to www.JingProject.com or www.ScreenToast.com.

Fourth, write an article every day and submit it to www.ezinearticles.com. (Even if you do this once a week, you’ll still get traffic, but more often is better). For the topic, keep it the same as your blog and video.

Simple and effective.

I’d love to hear your thoughts about any of these techniques and any other’s that have been working well for you.

Give to get marketing…

General 3 Comments »

Hey,

marketing is a funny thing. Actually people are funny and when you pay attention to selling, sharing and teaching them, you’ll notice some significant changes if you want to get ahead. The old techniques for making money online was to scream and yell at enough people and some of them will cave in and buy. But people have been complaining about those strategies and a few very smart marketers have seen a new trend being born.

frankkernOne of the better known marketers is Frank Kern. His strategy is to find out what people want and give em a bunch of it for free. Then build a relationship with them, then when you’re ready to sell them something, you’re not really selling, you’re just allowing your friends to get access to something that they’re dying to get their hands on.

The beauty of this (from a financial perspective) is that you can ask for a much higher price when you do sell something and people are happy to pay it because they’ve tried your free stuff and it’s awesome.

I personally love helping people and teaching, so I’m excited about this shift in marketing. I really don’t know if the majority of the marketers will embrace it, since it will take a significant amount if faith, but I know I am on board.

I really suggest you join my rss feed so you get my next post, because I’m going to be giving away some significant content. :)

Talk to you soon.

Thirty Day Marketing!

General 0 Comment »

Hey,

A few weeks ago I sent out an email to many of you asking for your help in deciding which project you’d be most interested in getting your hands on. I listed several and got a ton of feedback [thank you!] and found that the two projects that people really wanted to get their hands on over and over again were:

‘Thirty Day Marketing’ (a video series teaching how to make money online quickly without investing much time or money) and ‘Twitter TNT’ (A software program I’m developing that automates 99% of the Twitter’s marketing process).

Well over the course of the past few weeks I’ve dedicated my focus to Thirty Day Marketing and recorded over twenty high quality videos for getting your business up and running extremely quickly and profitably without spending much time or money!

There’s going to be a few secret bonuses valued at more than the cost of the video series to really launch your profits to the next level. The series and bonuses are going to be shipped out on a few cds to my lucky customer’s doorsteps. :)

I am finishing up my affiliate software and merchant account in the next few days before it can go live, but you can pre-order your copy for a significant discount if you’d like at www.ThirtyDayMarketing.com

I’d love to hear your feedback about the look of the site and the sales copy!

Talk to you soon,

~Mike Cowles. <><
P.S. Twitter TNT will be on it's heels in the next few weeks. ;)

Glen Hopkins

General 0 Comment »

Hey,

I just got off the phone with Glen Hopkins [no joke] and we were talking about a high end training program he did a few months ago that he taught the techniques he used to bring in $125,790 in 33 days. He sold the training for just under a thousand bucks and sold out in less than a week.

Here’s how all this relates to you…

When he did the training he video taped everything and now he’s offering it for a limited time for free.

If you’ve heard all you need to and want to grab your copy now, just go to www.freetoolsandtips.com/netsuccess.

I’ve had the chance to talk with Glen personally a few times and he’s not just a brilliant marketer and someone you can learn a lot from, he’s also an honest person that I would trust.

Do yourself a favor and take him up on his free offer. It’s got a proven blueprint to launch you to the next level in your business.

After you do, let me know what you think about it. I really do want to hear your feedback.

Sincerely,

~Mike Cowles. <><

P.S. There’s not a lot of marketers out there with this kind of knowledge that are willing to give it away for free, so take advantage of the chance Glen is offering you!

New Products

General 17 Comments »

Hey,

I’m working on several different projects and was hoping to get some feedback from you about which one you would want to get your hands on first. Based on your feedback (and others) I’ll put my efforts on finishing what you want first.

*If you don’t see something that you want, please let me know what it is you’re looking for. You may be the inspiration needed for my next project! ;)

Here’s a brief description. Please let me know your thoughts!

1. A series of brand new interviews with internet marketing experts, (includes Liz Tomey, Jim Cockrum, Jason Pearson, David Lovelace and more). Each interview is 60-90 minutes long covering affiliate marketing, list building, getting started, getting JVs, etc.

2. Twitter software. Automates adding followers from multiple accounts, sends tweets to multiple accounts with a few clicks, unfollows people not following you after a few days of you following them, so your list can grow bigger, and sends tweets to multiple accounts at set days/times (like christmas, 4th of July, etc.)

3. Split testing script. Let’s you rotate as many urls as you’d like without visitors to your site being aware so you can see what price, headline, guarantee, PS, etc. works the best. (easy to use).

4. Cloaking software. Puts an opt in or video or other offer on the affiliate’s site, plus cloaks your link, plus has an exit pop up, plus tracking on those pages.

5. Clickbank script. With this info and script, you can put your product on the top of clickbank and get a ton of free affiliates promoting your product.

6. Thirty day marketing. A collection of videos teaching fast cash techniques only.

Thanks for your help. I really appreciate it. =]

Advice for a friend…

General 0 Comment »

Hi everyone,

I recently got an email from a friend named Chuck who was needing some advice for making money online. He actually sent me a list of questions about both online marketing and offline. (Some people call it offline gold, where you sell your internet marketing services to local businesses.)

I shared some very valuable info about both and thought you’d like to listen in on the answers… so here is the actual email:

See below! =]

On 7/15/09, Chuck wrote:

Mike thanks for the great offer. Let’s start off with a few questions and maybe that’s all I will need.

Just hit reply and answer by the question.

Do you make the bulk of your income in the “offline” business working with the small to medium businesses?

I have in the past. There is a lot of money to be made that way and I am actually in the process of setting that up. However, setting up ‘auto-pilot’ income is not as hard and has a better long term goal of more time.

Do you do more than what your WSO is offering?

(readers: my wso is my warrior special offer that teaches getting high rankings quickly on google).

Definitely. I have several products, plus I am an affiliate manager for a highly successful Internet Marketer and learn a ton from that experience.

Do you cold call these businesses?

The offline work that I am doing has a few techniques for contacting the businesses. Since I don’t like cold calling, I chose a few different ways to contact them. One is to have someone else (if you can partner with someone or hire someone) pass out flyers with a time sensitive offer. The other is to do a mailing to several businesses pointing them to a seminar where you’ll be teaching for free to a limited number of people.

Are they receptive or does it take some sales experience?

It’s not about sales experience. It’s about three things. If they like you, trust you and respect you (or think that you know what you’re doing) then you’re in. Most biz owners are frustrated and open to investing in something that looks solid. If you can explain what you do, it should produce several sales.

If you had to build an income of $1500 a month where would you start?

Believe it or not, $1500 is not that much, so I would invest in a graphic artist to create a squeeze page ($50 on the warriors forum) and get some plr (private label rights) products with give away rights and drive some traffic to that page. (Some free ways are with forums and articles with your signature pointing to your ‘free’ offer/website).

Once they sign up for the free stuff, show them a one time offer for a waaay more exciting offer, (like 5 times as much as the free stuff) for X number of dollars, (for example $20).

Then after they buy, you can promote other people’s products to them as an affiliate.

Btw, if you’re selling the oto for $20, you’d need to sell 75 a month or about 17 a week to make $1500 a month. However, if you market your list the right way, you should be able to get a bunch of affiliate sales as well.

(Readers: if you promoted www.1in90.com, you would only need 3 sales a month to reach Chuck’s goal of $1500 a month.)

What type of niches would you choose?

There are tons. You can pick professions, like chiropractor, dentist, insurance agents, restaraunts, photographers, etc.

How would you monetize them?

There are several ways, but here’s a few.

1. Consulting. Charge $150 per hour or $500 for a written custom traffic strategy that they can keep and implement after discussing it with you for an hour.

2. The traffic strategies services. (in other words you do it for them or outsource it).

3. Lead generation. Pick the niche, say chiropractors, make a squeezepage offering a free report in exchange for their name, phone, email. Then sell those leads to the chiropractor weekly via email for $30 each.

4. Web design. Outsource it for $300-$500 and add a zero for the clients price. =)

5. Hosting. Get an account at www.hostgatorplus.com for under $5 a month, then add the clients website to your account, (you can have as many as you want) and charge them $25 per month for hosting alone or $75 for hosting and up to two hours of maintenance/changes to their site. (be sure to mention that your hourly rate is $150)

Do you have a product that teaches the way you would do this?

6. I am in the process of putting one together. If you’d like, you can sign up for my free tools and tips at www.freetoolsandtips.com and once I have it ready, you’ll get an email telling you about it.

Thanks, Chuck
